PROCESS
My blades are heat treated to 58-60 rc. I use a variety of exotic hardwoods, bone, horn and antler for handle materials. My personal favourite is Curly Maple, stained, and finished with hand rubbed double boiled linseed oil . I make all of my own knife cases using the best 8-9 oz. Vegetable tanned leather shoulders available. All cases have a welt to protect stitching and are wet molded to the knife for which it was made. Embellishments such as hand tooling or snake skin inlays are also available. I have just completed a 42 ton forge welding press & a 4 Burner gas forge and am in the process of building a 75 lb. Air hammer to be completed sometime this summer.
